Sir Sydney Carlyle Cockerell (1867-1962) - Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum.
There is a massive amount in print about Sydney Cockerell,
mainly because he constantly wrote letters to many of most famous people working in the arts and literature in his day.
He was hugely charismatic character, a very successful museum curator.
